About the Organization The Upper St. John Valley Organization is being started by residents of the Upper St. John Valley, on both sides of the Canada / U.S. border.
This is a non-profit venture with the intent to tap into Community Capitalism. The goal is to promote and sustain our art, music, nature, festivals & events, recreation, history, and local products & services.
The Time is Right! This is a very good opportunity for us here in The Valley to mold our own futures. We can have fun together, and do business together, and to compete with anyone anywhere. |

We cannot continue to export our local resources for finished products to be produced elsewhere. This time is NOW to organize ourselves to take care of our back yard and each other. We must effectively make and market unique and quality “niche” products, expand opportunities for our farmers, and adopt management practices to sustain our forests. The Upper St. John Valley Organization needs competent and hard-working people that love their work, are willing to work hard, and are open to working with others. We in the valley have everything that we need to sustain ourselves, and our environment. |
